Allison Eguchi, Senior Artist, Co-Rehearsal Associate
Allison Eguchi joined Dissonance in 2016. She is originally from Huntington Beach, California, where she began her dance training at Huntington Academy of Dance. In the summer of 2011, she was ranked second nationally and awarded a scholarship to attend the Cecchetti International Ballet Competition in Manchester, United Kingdom. Allison spent 5 years in Ballet Etudes, a nonprofit youth ballet company, where she performed roles such as Clara and the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Nutcracker. Allison is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Dance Performance and Choreography. At USC, she had the pleasure of training under Thaddeus Davis, Tanya Wideman-Davis, and Stacey Calvert, performing original works and also Balanchine works such as Serenade, and working with guest artists such as Maurya Kerr and Arturo Fernandez of Alonzo King Lines Ballet.
